プロフィール翻訳（LinkedIn向け）は、非公式のブラウザ拡張機能です。LinkedIn が提供、後援、または承認しているものではありません。 LinkedIn は LinkedIn Corporation の商標です。開発者はこの拡張機能のための独自サーバーを運営しません。
端末内の翻訳
標準の翻訳は、Chrome に内蔵された Translator API と Language Detector API を使います。プロフィールの本文はお使いの端末の中で処理されます。 このモードでは、拡張機能はプロフィール本文、氏名、職務経歴を開発者や第三者のサーバーへ送信しません。 言語モデルを初めて使うとき、ブラウザ自身がモデルをダウンロードすることがあります。それはブラウザの機能であり、この拡張機能が本文をアップロードするものではありません。
任意の外部翻訳
設定で DeepL または Google Cloud Translation の API キーを保存し、その状態で翻訳を実行したときだけ、翻訳を頼んだ本文がその事業者へ送信されます。
送り先は、選んだプランに応じて api.deepl.com、api-free.deepl.com、または translation.googleapis.com です。
API キーも、そのリクエストの認証として同じ事業者へ送られます。他の宛先へは送りません。
キーを保存していないときは、これらのリクエストは行いません。
端末内に残るもの
- 翻訳先の言語、自動翻訳のオンオフ、API キーは
chrome.storage.localに保存します。Chrome の同期機能では送りません。 - 同じ文を訳し直さないための一時的な訳文は
chrome.storage.sessionに残り、ブラウザを閉じると消えます。
扱わないもの
LinkedIn のパスワード、クッキーの中身、メッセージ、健康情報、金融情報、位置情報、閲覧履歴は収集しません。 データを販売しません。信用判定や広告の目的には使いません。プロフィール本文を開発者のサーバーに蓄積しません。

On-device translation
The default translator is Chrome's built-in Translator API and Language Detector API. Profile text is processed on your device. In this mode the extension does not send profile text, names, or work history to the developer or to any other server. The first time a language model is needed, the browser itself may download that model. That download is the browser's, not an upload of your profile by this extension.
Optional cloud translation
Only if you save a DeepL or Google Cloud Translation API key and then run a translation, the text you asked to translate is sent to that provider.
The destination is api.deepl.com, api-free.deepl.com, or translation.googleapis.com, depending on the plan you chose.
The API key is sent to the same provider to authenticate that request, and nowhere else.
If you have not saved a key, those requests are not made.
What stays on the device
- Language choices, the auto-translate toggle, and API keys are stored in
chrome.storage.local. They are not written to Chrome sync. - Temporary translations that avoid repeat work are stored in
chrome.storage.sessionand cleared when the browser closes.
What we do not handle
The extension does not collect LinkedIn passwords, cookie contents, messages, health information, financial information, location, or browsing history. It does not sell data, and it does not use data for credit decisions or advertising. Profile text is not stored on a developer server.
